Data Collection
We invite the community—individuals, schools and community groups—to get involved in local waterway monitoring by collecting water quality data and uploading the data results to our Harbour Watch MyWater Portal database.
Increased awareness of the health of our waterways and harbour is important for the entire community to understand the impacts industries and communities have on our valuable freshwater and saltwater ecosystems.
Data collected by Harbour Watch students and citizen scientists at sample sites around Gladstone region can be uploaded and viewed on the Harbour Watch MyWater portal.
