- Zooplankton including copepods, rotifers, protozoa
- Molluscs mainly gastropods
Plants
- Mangroves
- Benthic algae
- Phytoplankton mainly diatoms with occurrences of dinoflagellates
- Seagrass
There is also the possibility of seeing a range of other animals while out on the water including crabs, fish, crocodiles, sharks, jellyfish, prawns, dolphins, turtles, dugong, wader birds and sea birds.
